The Radical Sanctuary x TENT 'Bridging the Old and the New'
This workshop invited staff members into a collective exploration of communication, discomfort, collaboration, and organizational transformation during a period of institutional transition. It emphasized embodied awareness, collective meaning-making, and radical honesty, while still offering grounding moments through resets, reflection rituals, and shared writing…
‘Queering Education’ for The Pink Cube’s Palari Queer Salon
For The Pink Cube Groningen’s Palari: Queer Salon, I facilitated a 2.5-hour workshop exploring queering education, queer pedagogies, and de-hierarchized learning practices. Together we examined how power moves through classrooms and communities, and how discomfort can become a productive tool for reflection, vulnerability, and transformation…
The Radical Sanctuary x 100% Contemporary (Session 2)
Upon wrapping up the Pilot of The Radical Sanctuary from the 4th of April, I received a lot of feedback and desires for ‘aftercare’'. Therefore I partnered up with 100% Contemporary again to lead another session to pick up on discomfort and emotional labour that came up during the previous session and deserves proper time & attention…
Kuffs x Artjam Sessions
I was invited as a guest speaker to share my journey and insights as a maker, performer, and creative entrepreneur — discussing what it takes to build a multidisciplinary, body-rooted art business in a changing world. I spoke about merging craft, performance, pedagogy and commerce: from wearable art and stage costumes to workshops, movement practices and social-safety training…
The Radical Sanctuary x Boijmans op Zuid
I developed and facilitated The Radical Sanctuary, a modular training program designed to increase social safety on the cultural work floor through an intersectional and embodied approach. The training combines dialogue, reflection, and collaborative exercises to help teams build shared language, collective responsibility, and more equitable working dynamics…
'Visual Cultures' Art Student Residency MaMA x WdKA Rotterdam, NL 2024
For the MaMA × WdKA collaboration, I designed and facilitated a multi-week residency program that supported art students in exploring themes of process, ruins, professional identity, and collective authorship within a contemporary cultural institution. The residency combined experimental art-making, critical reflection, and professional development through a series of workshops, embodied exercises, table sessions with museum staff, and iterative installation practices inside MaMA’s showroom…
The Radical Sanctuary x 100% Contemporary (Session 1)
The Radical Sanctuary started as a research developed whilst engaging in Gender Studies at the University of Utrecht (2019-2022) and was picked up during my time working as a Coordinator of Education for 100% Contemporary. The pilot focused on the question: ‘How do we lower the treshold for BIPOC and queer young visitors by integrating queer and decolonial theory?’ These visitors referred to those of TENT, Kunstinstituut Melly and MaMA Showroom hence the training was dedicated to the staff members of these art platforms. It offered a global familiarization with queer and decolonial theory through the lens of art educators, hands-on exercises for protocol shaping, digesting and navigating discomfort, and a consensus-driven debate about various relevant (in-house) cases.
The Darkest Timeline x TENT
The Darkest Timeline was an internally developed and executed training for the core staff of TENT Rotterdam. In collaboration with Anita Hrnić of the Education department, I developed a short training regarding the move and transitional phase of TENT from Witte de Withstraat to Coolhaven and the affiliated concerns. The training involved a radically playful approach to the DISC method, reversals of roles, the benefits of doom scenarios, and consensus shaping.
