Shipping/delivery policies

When you receive your shipping label, you will automatically be sent a tracking link. However, this does not indicate that your package has been taken to the post office; only that your tracking label has been printed to ready your items for delivery.

It typically takes between 1-2 weeks to pack your items and send them off to the post office. The delivery time will vary and you will be able to check the progress of your shipment using the tracking link. However, I am NOT responsible for any problems on the end of PostNL All issues with PostNL must be handled with them.

How do I put a Kuff on?

You open up the Kuff slightly until it is wide enough to slide your nostril between the planes. Once your nostril fits in there snugly, you can use your thumb and index finger to press the planes together, hugging your nose as tight as you want. It may take some time to get used to, but I recommend pressing it on tightly in case you tend to move or perspire a lot.

Is every piece handmade?

Yes! Every piece is handmade by Kirti Soekaloe and all custom options can be made to your desires.

Do I need to have a nose piercing to wear Kuffs?

No, you don’t need a nose piercing at all! Perfect for those who want to change things up regularly or aren’t sure whether they want to commit to an actual piercing. You can even wear it however you want! And even if you do have a pierced nose, it can be made to fit around any existing piercings you have.

What kind of metal are they made of?

For the Golden options, I use a 14kt Goldfilled wire. The gold-filled wire has a layer of 14-carat gold, which is mechanically bonded to a base metal by heat and pressure. The thickness of the gold must be at least 1/20th of the total weight. This produces a beautiful - and affordable - quality that is well tolerated by people who are allergic to metals other than gold.

For Silver, I use Argentium Silver wire. Argentium consists of 93.5% silver instead of the traditional silver which consists of 92.5% + 7.5% copper. It turns black less quickly (due to oxidation).

How do I clean them?

After wearing the Kuff you can gently clean it by (1) rinsing it with soap and water, but make sure to completely dry it afterward. (2) using a piercing cleanser or disinfection alcohol on a Q-tip. However, do not use these harsh solutions too regularly or the Kuff will wear out quickly.

How will a bridge piece fit my nose?

Upon designing your custom bridge piece, I will have to gauge the width of your bridge. Once you receive your Kuff and want to put it on for the first time, make sure to widen the bridge part slightly and slide the Kuff on. Once it rests on your nose, you can apply pressure to the wire on your bridge to mold the shape around your nose.

What if I lose them?

The artist won't be held responsible, whether it be legally, in an agreement, or in any other way, for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages or loss.
