To my cherished friend…

Although it was a small and lowkey project I made within one day, this birthday card for my good friend Lyana is very dear to me. I was inspired by a vivid memory of Lyana’s art project in high school. She made a lovely rendering of Orpheus in the form of wayang. I tried to portray her as the radiant and beautiful person she is.

Here I used watercolours, markers, watercolour crayons, wax crayons and textile paint.
