The Radical Sanctuary x 100% Contemporary (Session 2)
Upon wrapping up the Pilot from the 4th of April, I received a lot of feedback and desires for ‘aftercare’'. Therefore I partnered up with 100% Contemporary again to lead another session to pick up on discomfort and emotional labour that came up during the previous session and deserves proper time & attention. Some of the feedback had also led to a reshaping of the discussion formats, modes of mediation, and balance between theory and playful integration through creative exercises. This last point shows that this is an ongoing development of a research-led training, which reiterates itself constantly due to the feedback and specific needs of the involved parties.

Kuffs x The Artjam
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The Radical Sanctuary x 100% Contemporary (Session 1)
The Radical Sanctuary started as a research developed whilst engaging in Gender Studies at the University of Utrecht (2019-2022) and was picked up during my time working as a Coordinator of Education for 100% Contemporary. The pilot focused on the question: ‘How do we lower the treshold for BIPOC and queer young visitors by integrating queer and decolonial theory?’ These visitors referred to those of TENT, Kunstinstituut Melly and MaMA Showroom hence the training was dedicated to the staff members of these art platforms. It offered a global familiarization with queer and decolonial theory through the lens of art educators, hands-on exercises for protocol shaping, digesting and navigating discomfort, and a consensus-driven debate about various relevant (in-house) cases.

The Darkest Timeline x TENT
The Darkest Timeline was an internally developed and executed training for the core staff of TENT Rotterdam. In collaboration with Anita Hrnić of the Education department, I developed a short training regarding the move and transitional phase of TENT from Witte de Withstraat to Coolhaven and the affiliated concerns. The training involved a radically playful approach to the DISC method, reversals of roles, the benefits of doom scenarios, and consensus shaping.
